Mountain Memories at ThorpeWood, LLC partners with ThorpeWood and their lovely property, to help clients create the perfect and most memorable event!

This unique property is located 1500 feet up in the Catoctin Mountains and is richly endowed with 155 acres, nestled within more than 18,000 acres of public parks and private preserves.

All paying events are booked and managed by Mountain Memories at ThorpeWood, owned and directed by Julie Castleman. Julie and her staff have enjoyed shepherding brides and grooms, making arrangements for corporate groups and assisting with details for other types of events held at the ThorpeWood Lodge. She has successfully guided more than 900 couples through one of the most important moments in their lives—making their dreams a reality with Mountain Memories at ThorpeWood.

Many thanks to Julie Castleman and the staff at Mountain Memories, Thorpewood and all of and vendors for an incredible experience. I’ve heard from many, many people as to how much they enjoyed themselves and to the beauty and the highly appointed features of the pavilion, lodge, patio with lights and, especially the caldron(!) where many people were able to make s’mores.

You went beyond our expectations with carting my son Mike’s family to Ole Mink Farm. That in itself reassured me of the care and dedication you have for your clients and guests, which was never in doubt, but placed an explanation point on the word ‘service’.
